Credit Card fraud

I did business with this company in Dec 2012. Since that time they have repeatedly charged my credit card without authorization for thousands of dollars. I have luckily been able to recoup the money through disputing the charges but i'm on my 3rd round of disputes. My fault for not changing my card # but still this guy is a criminal. criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal criminal

Ripped Off!

Avoid this "company" like the plague! I placed an order for 1,000 ping pong balls approximately two months ago. My credit card was charged immediately for nearly $400. After about a month with no merchandise and no communication, I began calling and emailing the company to request information. I received no response to repeated emails and voicemails., and no one EVER answered the phone. Eventually, I stumbled across an online review in which the author recommended calling multiple times in quick succession to get the owner - Chris Alleher - to answer. It worked! After 17 calls in a row, he picked up. Chris told me that my order had been produced, was sitting right in front of him, and would be shipped the following day via express mail. He explained that the reason for the delay was that his company closes down every year during the month of August and that it should have been posted on the website (it wasn't, and I am quite confident the story was a lie). Two weeks went by after my order supposedly shipped out "express," and I still had no merchandise. So I began trying to call again. I finally reached someone yesterday - a lady who said she had no access to the system to look up my information and that she would have Chris call me. I called again this morning at around 9AM and Chris answered. When I told him who I was, he said that his name was Roger, that Chris wasn't in, and that I would need to call back after 11 when they opened. I protested and insisted that he answer my questions. He repeatedly refused. So, I waited and called back at 11. The same person answered, only this time his name was Chris. He said that my refund had been issued last night and that I should see it on my card within 3 business days. I expressed my skepticism about this promise, reminding him of the time he promised that my order would ship. He said that the reason for the delay was that he had experienced a death in the family. He closed the conversation by exclaiming that my refund had been issued and that I could "shove it up my f$?!ing a$$." In the process of trying to recoup my money, I have discovered dozens of online reviews written by people who have experienced very similar situations, not to mention about 3 dozen Better Business Bureau complaints. If you have been victimized by this criminal, please don't let him off the hook. Contact your credit card company, the Massachusetts State Police, your local law enforcement agency, and the Attorneys General of Massachusetts and your state. Stop him from continuing to victimize unsuspecting consumers. And if he has your money, keep calling until he answers the phone. The best number to use is 774-200-****. Even better, dial *67 before the number, and it will mask your name and number on his caller ID. PLEASE help put a stop to him! Oh - and it should be noted that he operates multiple websites. The two most notable are glowstickfactory.com and pingpongballs.net.

Never delivered our order

Updated by user May 10, 2013

It's been another month. I've filed a complaint with the better business bureau (they have a list of additional complaints against them) with no response.

I've left 4 additional messages... no response. This is both dishonest and illegal to take money without providing the product.

USE EXTREME CAUTION IF DEALING WITH THIS VENDOR. THEY ARE UNRELIABLE AND WILL LITERALLY LIE TO YOUR FACE.

Paid for Product, Never Received It

At first I was very happy with the service. I wanted a rush order but there was no rush order option available on the website so I simply sent a follow up email stating that I wanted them rushed. He, I assume is the owner/operator, called back and noted that he wouldn't be able to get them done in time. I wasn't particularly happy about that but I did place the order relatively late so I wasn't dissatisfied that he couldn't oblige. That wasn't my complaint. Since he wasn't able to make them in time he offered to send them as soon as possible since I had paid for 2 day shipping. The whole next week goes by, and I still have yet to receive the order of 500 customized ping pong balls. I paid exactly $551.51 to receive them. I send an email stating that I haven't yet received anything but I get no response. Then I call and their phones are down. Next week, I send another email. I receive no response. I call again. Phone lines are still down. Finally, more than a month after I needed the ping pong balls he responds to my email asking if I still want the balls. I said yes, but I want to be refunded the entire amount. He never responded again. I still have no ping pong balls and I'm out 550 dollars of my own money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. EVER!

Glowstickfactory SUCKS

I placed an order back in April and some products were broken I bought 30 flashing light up Donald Duck pins to honor my father who has recently passed at my wedding. You could tell the product was old because the paint was flaking off the magnets, but I let the go since no one was really going to see it. I contacted the company to let them know I wanted a replacement and was told it was being shipped and he would include a couple free for the trouble. I have YET to received anything. They will NOT respond to emails or answer their phones when they see my phone number. I proved this theory because I started calling from other peoples numbers after I went a month with no response. I called from mine, no answer, hung up called back immediately from a friends phone with an out of state number and taaa daaa someone answered. He gave me some BS excuse that there was a death in his family and they were being shipped, NEVER HAPPENED. Its now been almost 3 months and no one will respond to anything. Their online chat is BS, I sat on the computer for FIVE hours with it giving me the same message, All reps busy please wait for the next available person, NEVER HAPPENED. Dont waste your money, this company SUCKS!!!!!!!!

I posted a complaint earlier. I found his information. He uses the monicker "Chris" and the pseudonyms for glowstickfactory and pingpongballz as a cover. He also uses his PO box to keep you from knowing who he is. A quick whois search and several google searches later revealed his name is "David Fromm, 62 L Street, Hull, Massachusetts 02045" He's been in several lawsuits in the past with glow stick factory.

I'm currently trying to collect anyone together who have been ripped off by this corporation. If you have, PLEASE CONTACT ME. SueGlowStickFactory@***.com

I plan on issuing a class action lawsuit. He has swindled us out of thousands of dollars and only jail time will fix this; not small claims court. He is running a scam and I want to see him behind bars.

Glowsticks.com - Awful!

I placed an order over 10 days ago for some glow sticks for an event we are having tomorrow. Unfortunately, I still haven't received my order. After placing the order, I received an email telling me my order was "awaiting shipment", and 10 days later it is still "awaiting shipment". I indicated I wanted 2 day shipping as well, just to make sure I received my order in time for my event. I have left 3 voice mail messages and have sent countless emails and have never received any type of response. They don't even answer their phone even though the message says they open at 10:00 AM. I just sent another email cancelling my order today. I only hope I don't get charged, though I probably will. Do not order from this website. It's nothing but a big scam.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. I pay $23 extra for 3 day shipping.

Three days later, I get a message saying "I see you went with three day select, what is the date you need your order by?"

I NEED IT BY TODAY. I'm so angry and need to find somewhere else to get 70$ worth of glow stick prizes for TOMORROW. absolute BS. Their service is terrible.

Don't ever order from them. I can't believe I wasted my time like this

Guest

Ordered days ago and can not get anyone on the phone. The live chat in the right hand corner must be fake because it is forever off line.

SCAM ALERT! EMAILING THIS WORTHLESS PLACE IS USELESS. I do not understand how a company like this can go on unpunished. I can not even get in contact with anyone to cancel the order.

scam alert !

Anyone who charges your credit card with out shipping anything is a scam artist. Since I could not contact anyone for 4 days I called my CREDIT CARD AND DISPUTED THE CHARGES AND ALERTED THEM OF THIS SCAM COMPANY!

NOT MADE IN USA - Liars!!

This company states on their website that their products are made in USA and emphasizes the need to buy American-made goods because the USA has higher safety standards than many other countries. The box arrived today, and the products are ALL marked "Made in China"! They are LIARS and are deliberately attracting people who want to buy American-made products. Do not buy anything from this company. Their e-mail address is fake, too. I tried to reply to an e-mail they sent me, and it was returned because there is no such domain name. I was cheated by this company.

Fromm started Glow stick factory in 1999. was sold in 2009.

It was sold in 2005 upon serious illness of the founder. GSF sells many products made in china.

The GLOWSTICKS are made in USA. The term does not apply to every item that glows.

Finally received email. saying he was sorry and that he would be shipping out via FedEx. I called next day and he "Chris" answered. I explained to him my concern and he said that he was shipping my order the next day. I asked for a FedEd tracking number. He ask for me to hold for a minute so he could get it. 4 minutes later he gave it to me. Come to find out after I got off the phone he had created it while he was on the phone with me. Needless to say, I still had not received my package. I have been trying to call this POS for the last week. For the last few days his phone would not except calls because the VM was full. WTF? Anyway. This SOB answered today. I was very polite and told him who I was and that I still had not received my order "you still haven't received it"? *** no. He knows I have not received it. Why would anyone want to do business this way. Just ***. So I say no and he said Fedex has it. He gives me a half *** sorry you haven't gotten your pingpongballs yet, but...and get this he says "my daughter died last week and I really don't care about your order" Now if I felt like he was being serious I would have some compassion. BUT, He is full of ***. I said "I am real sorry to hear about your daughter. That is terrible. And it is obvious you don't care about my order." He then told me to to "Go *** yourself" and hung up. Ripped off by PingPongBalls.net

I noticed the shipping was a bit excessive and I researched the site before placing the order. It stated they are "experts at packaging and shipping" so I figured ok, they must use high quality materials to ship and possibly used a faster service.

But no, I received an email update showing the order had been sent by USPS FIRST CLASS MAIL. I realized I had been completely overcharged for shipping by at least $13 if not more. I called to speak to someone and it took 5 try's for them to even answer. I explained the situation and noted that I should only pay for the service that was actually used to ship and would like to have a refund of the difference.

A very irate Chris, said he would recall the package which had already been sent, cancel it, then send another order ground instead so it would be what I paid for...What?? Really?? I explained that was obviously not what I was asking to be done, I needed the order, but did not like the fact that I was overcharged. I explained I was a business owner myself and would never inflate the shipping to make a buck.

Their site also states "best price guaranteed, satisfaction guaranteed", so I asked why they weren't being honest about the delivery service??

He was just livid, literally screaming and cussing me out through the phone and ultimately hung up on me. WOW....real professional, and just 2 days before Christmas....Ba-humbug!!!!

Guest

I placed a $300 order with glowstickfactory, they were for our wedding as a send off...the website said products ship in 7-10 business days. Well, 3 weeks later, I hadn't received any updates via email or product.

So I called, it rang and rang then was forwarded to a private cell phone and the vm was full. I immediately knew I had been ripped off. I got on the website and sent an email to which I NEVER got a reply. Called again and was able to leave a voicemail the following week.

Never received a call back. Called once more threatening legal action. Still nothing. I finally got smart and called the credit card company and explained the situation.

They immediately refunded the money and get this, the following day, I get an email saying my order is ready to ship!! Mind you this was now only 10 days before the wedding, I had already ordered another product in its place. I was livid. Called once more and this time I actually got a company voicemail message rather than someones private number.

I told them not to bother sending it.

Turns out they have MULTIPLE complaints with the BBB and are not accredited. Live and learn I suppose.

I, too, have been ripped off by this person.

OK, only $80 and I will try to reverse. Don't like my chances.

In Australia, and hoped to buy some 38mm balls.

His site looked professional, but ,hey, I was fooled.

Do NOT have any dealings with pingpongballs.net.

They (he?) are thieves.

Glowstickfactory.com/logoballz.com

The Glow Stick Factory bought out Logo Ballz (per the old owner who I had to contact because I couldn't get in touch with logoballz.com up until recently. They have the same owner so I guess this is a review on both of them (even though I delt with just logoballz.com): I am so unhappy with logoballz.com. I ordered a custom gift for my husband for his birthday almost a month ago (his birthday has since passed). I know custom orders usually take longer to ship out due to them being custom made so I was expecting a little bit of a wait time. Well...5 or 6 emails later and dozens of phone calls I finally got a real person. He couldn't have be any more of a ***. I completley understand when orders can't be fullfilled right away due to not having the material it takes to make the product. I'm just upset about the poor customer service. I used to work in customer service and know how to treat people the right way and Christopher (he is the person I spoke with) obviously doesn't . He didn't offer me any compensation (like free shipping). Even after I asked if I could have free shipping he flat out said no. He kept telling me that the website that they have up online is bad and that he is going to take it down. Honestly I don't care if the website is bad. I just want an apology and some sort of compensation for the poor attitude that I had to deal with. Supposedly the order is shipping out today and I'll get it tomorrow. We shall see if it even comes in.

Glow.com - Free trial - Fraudulant Charges

On April 2nd week I received a call from glow.com asking me to check their website for free sample and they said it is 'free' and there will be no indirect charges other than the shipping fee. I gave my credit card and they charged only the shipping fee and sent the product on April.I used the product and did not find it to the standard they claim so just left it aside and never planned or ordered from them anything. However, today I received a package from glow.com with another set of mini sample size same as the free sample they sent on April and an invoice for $80.But I then noticed that glow.com has charged $100 for the first sample they sent on April .I called customer service who claims that they sent an email along with my initial 'free sample order' where it says $60 will be charged after 30 days if the package is not returned and shipping tax etc. totaled to $100. I have sent them a note that I will take this complaint to consumer court if they do not refund all my money except for the first free sample's shipping charge. This is a complete spam. They do not tell you what you are agreeing for and they keep charging your credit card every month without your knowledge. BEWARE!!!GLOW.COM IS A SPAM!

I called to inquire about purchasing custom printed pink pong balls, and while asking a simple question the "gentleman" started yelling at me, and hung up the phone. I called again, thinking I would get better customer service, but to no avail,it was the same person. He was even more rude and started cussing at me. I can only guess he is the owner of the business. WOW, what a way to handle business. We were looking to purchase the custom ping pong balls for a well known Hollywood Celebrity to sign at a charity event, which we would have offered to give credit to the vendor we purchased the ping balls. Ordered 100-4 inch glowsticks and was excited that they came in so quickly. Realized that we would need another 100 so I ordered another set.

Well 4 weeks later they still aren't here. I got a call from Bryan who said they would be sent out OVERNIGHT and I should have them by Tuesday, but for sure no later than Wednesday. My party was Saturday and they still had not been delivered. I called...of course no answer...left a voicemail requesting a refund.

The night of the party we activated the glow sticks only to find out they were extremely WEAK, they were not bright at all.

I am EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED and will be sure to let everyone know to stay clear of this company. It's not only about they product not being delivered it's also how horrible the product is.

Do not order anything from this company!!! All they provided for customer service was excuses.

They call themselves an American company ,they should be ashamed of themselves!! I order online often, and have never encountered a company as lame as this one.

I cannot stress enough- DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMANY, you won't receive your order in a timely manner, if at all!

Signed- A very unhappy customer

The person up there pretending to be sally is actually chris the owner. they are a terrible company, never order from them, there is no customer service to talk to, you have to deal with the same *** all the time who doesnt give refunds or make up for wrong or late orders. :(

I ordered custom ping pong ball on 5/30/12, I was told on 6/21/12 that they were shipped, one month later, still no order (this was intended as a Father's day gift). I called today and the guy just yelled and yelled at me, hung up on me.

I had to call back because he never answered any of my questions, just said "well what do you expect, you ordered it wrong" and yelled at me some more and hung up on me a second time. This is an awful company, do not do business with them

…Kickin’ Ads and Takin’ Names

geee they sure do sound like the type to be bully or ready for a fight...

Guest

Hi it's Sally I took these calls here are the TRUE FACTS

this complaint is from www.westerncreative.com

This company is the rudest and terrorizing bully there can be,

they called us wanting 25 ping pong balls imprinted, however we have a minimum order of 60 balls, as there are some costs with printing , set up, inks, printing plate, all of which we pay for , we do not charge any of these costs to our clients, so we need the minimum to be 60 balls, the caller said that it was bad customer service not to provide the 25 balls, I advised the caller that I knew of another company that sells the balls with no minimums and the caller said that she could not buy from that company as she had a problem with them too. I told her I was sorry and that I knew of no other company she could go to.

The caller called back demanding, threaten me saying that she needs the 25 balls and I need to provide them, I again advised the caller we have a minimum of 60 balls, as the printing plate alone costs more than 25 balls, the caller hung up. The caller sent us an email saying that she was going plaster our company negatively every review blog. My Boss called her company as asked to speak with someone in charge, the person he spoke to told my boss to "shut up" and asked are you going to sell us the 25 balls?

This company is rude and their thinking they can torment or threaten another person its bullying !

Guest

This person wanted to buy custom balls 25 only and wanted to pay the blank ball cost, we advise customer that we did have a minimum of 60 balls and she became upset as she did not want to buy 60, we then told her of another company that she could buy less than our minimum she said that she has a problem with the other company and could not place orders with them. she did tell us that it would be good customer service if we sold only 25 ball, we advised her that we do not charge set up fees and we have to have a minimum as we incur all set up fees, 1 printing plate alone cost more than 25 balls, we did not hang up on her or yell at her that claim is false and can be easily proven call our customer support and find out for yourself
